You may have set goals, you may have taken action. You may want to be rich, famous or whatever, you want. However, you may have one thing that is stopping you, and this one thing is stopping your from goal achievement. Often it can't be seen until someone tells you what it is.

* Decision!
Most people will forget the most important part of the goal setting process, and that is actually making a decision to do something, to be something, to have something.

So, what do you want to do? What do you want to have? Who do you want to be? These are questions that need considering. You see, I have seen it time and time again. Not only in others lives have I seen it, but I have seen it in my own life, with some of the goals I set.

I wondered about it for a while, and through testing, realized that the decision factor is very important. It is so important, that after reading 'Think And Grow Rich' for the sixth time, I realized that decision was a factor that I was forgetting.

Yes, you can set goals, and you can work towards them. But, if you have not achieved, think about your decision. Did you make a decision?

A decision is vital for success, as a top life coach, I think it was Bob Proctor once said - a decision means to cut off. This means cutting off any other distractions, opportunities, etc.

When you make that decision, now you have purpose, and purpose is important. With all this added together, it makes goal setting and goal achievement a simple process that simply requires taking the steps.

Whether you currently use a goal setting system or you don't, consider what you are reading. Consider if your goals that have not manifested yet, have not done so because of decision.

Now if it is a new goal, then making the decision early on, will offer many benefits. But, if you find like I did, a goal has been set, and is taking longer than it realistically should, then think about the decision.

Did you make a decision? If you have a goal right now, there is nothing stopping you from making a decision. Cutting off any other possibilities is important. It is as simple as an 8 letter word, but the results can be phenomenal.

When the Romans came to the UK, they did an important process - they burned the ships and said now we have to win. And guess what - everywhere has roads because of that decision. Think about all the successes that have happened because of a simple process of deciding to do something, to have something, to be something. Make the decision and win!
