While the patient is becoming more relaxed, the fecal matter in his body is removed through the other hose. This procedure may take 30 to 50 minutes.
During the length of the procedure, the patient is bound to feel a euphoric state of pleasure as the nerves in the colon transmit a pleasantly full feeling, yet not painful. And after the procedure, with the removal of the stagnant wastes in the colon, the patient will immediately feel lighter.
All in all, the pleasant effects of colonics are immediately felt from the moment one lies and relaxes on the treatment table which continues long after the procedure. It would not be a surprise if the patient actually looses several pounds after the procedure considering the mass of the fecal matter that might have lingered in his body for who knows how long.
